Crazy Goat is inspired by the beginning of coffee, when coffee cherries were discovered by an Ethiopian goat herder named Kaldi. Noticing that his usually calm goats were jumping around crazily after eating some red berries, he decided to try them. And voila, the crazy, exciting world of coffee was born.

It has taken me time to get it through my thick Norwegian skull that the lighter roasts I like in a pour over don't make a terrific cold brew. They simply need a bit of "bite" to get through the homogeneity of chocolaty sameness that cold brewing produces. Enter Crazy Goat Blend. The Medium dark works great--and there is a spicy note on the top!

Very good coffee for expresso
One of our favorites for expressos. Just wish Klatch would bring back the industry standard 12 oz bags that got shrink-flationed. We would love to buy more but have had to diversity our suppliers due to limitations on trying coffees smaller than 2 pound bags other coffee roasters still have the 12oz option

Let’s face it, I bought the Crazy Goat Blend because of the great name! I only have an espresso machine but wanted to try it anyway. For me, it’s not strong enough for a milk based drink.

If you get this "one time" it will definitely not be a one time purchase as it will be stocked in your coffee supply always. I know taste is a subjective thing but this is damn good coffee.
