Klatch's 30th Anniversary Celebration: Welcome to Our Crib!

Welcoming Klatch Coffee to our thirties, we have an exciting four-day celebration planned for the last weekend of September. Truly emphasizing Klatch’s dedication to bringing the finest coffees from seed to cup, the festivities will demonstrate and showcase various different aspects of the art of coffee, including roasting, brewing, pouring, and crafting signature beverages for a unique coffee crawl event. Take a look at what we have planned below, and make sure to free up your weekend to stop by our house party!

Latte Art Throwdown — Day 1 — Thursday, September 28th — Klatch Coffee Pasadena (3007 Huntington Drive, Pasadena, CA, 91107)

One thing to know about Klatch Coffee’s founding Perry Family is that they’re all incredibly competitive. This drive and eagerness to win is what helped Heather win her title as US Barista Champion twice, and has helped Klatch Coffee win various awards and accolades for our espressos and, most recently, our Colombia Las Flores Chiroso Natural. With that in mind, what better way is there to open up our weekend than with a Latte Art Throwdown?! Held at our Pasadena cafe location, the throwdown will feature prizes from our friends at Brewista, Poursteady, Barista Magazine, and Created Co. First pour is at 7 PM!

Happy Hour — Day 2 — Friday, September 29th — Klatch Coffee Roastery & Training Lab (8767 Onyx Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, 91730)

Celebrating not only our 30th anniversary, but also National Coffee Day, the second day of the tour is a special Klatch Happy Hour. This is the only event on our lineup that has a 21+ age restriction, as the drinks will be flowing freely this evening. Try out Heather and Holly's latest specially curated coffee infused craft cocktails - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - and enjoy raffle prizes and a commemorative glass cup to take home with you! Although it’s never too early for a coffee cocktail, this event kicks off at 4:30 PM!

Coffee Crawl and Celebration — Day 3 — Saturday, September 30th — Klatch Coffee Roastery & Training Lab (8767 Onyx Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, 91730) and Klatch Coffee Roastery #2 (9325 Feron Boulevard, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730)

As the ideal all-ages event, the third day of the festival will boast a unique coffee crawl event at our current roastery and our new roastery located right down the street. This will be the first public introduction to our brand new building, and the event will feature a local vendor market, arts and crafts, an exclusive merchandise booth with our newly launching 30th anniversary merch, a specialty drink competition tour by all seven of our Klatch Coffee cafes featuring seven never-before-served beverages, a unique collaborative ice cream between Klatch Coffee and Dear Bella Creamery, various raffle prizes, roasting demos, a commemorative glass cup to take home, and free ice cream for all kids 17 and under. Soaking in the last bit of the SoCal sun before autumn hits, the party starts at 10 AM!

The Pearl Experience — Day 4 — Sunday, October 1st — Klatch Coffee Roastery & Training Lab (8767 Onyx Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, 91730)

Saving the best for last, The Pearl Experience features the very best that Klatch Coffee has to offer in a unique two-hour event, just in time for International Coffee Day. Enjoy roasting demos from our founder, green sourcer, and roastmaster Mike Perry, espresso and latte art demos from two-time US Barista Champion and current CEO Heather Perry, and brewing demos from this year's US Brewer's Cup Bronze Medalist and Klatch Coffee's very own Redondo Beach manager Daniel Teplitz. Learn all you need to know to craft your own artisan coffee, and also enjoy free admission to all other events with a purchase of a ticket for The Pearl Experience! This dazzling event starts at 9 AM.
