Don't just brew, brew it right
Top 5 Brewing Tips
1. Maximize your brew
Kris A. asked us, "I have the brew recipe, but how do I make sure it turns out perfectly each time? I don't know where to start".
Kris, you're not the only one. Brewing coffee at one point was thought to be easy and straightforward. With improvements and developments over time, we've learned that there is a lot of weight to each parameter in the brewing process. From temperature and grind size; to water quality and time...(and more!) We'll help you get started with 5 big tips.
2. Keep Track
As you brew more and more, you'll begin to find what works (and what doesn't) - that is, if you document it. It's memorable that day, but how will you remember it tomorrow, or the next day? We suggest getting a journal and storing it near your coffee station. This way, you can keep track of time, temperature, grind size, measurements and more. Keep in mind - what works for one coffee might not work for another coffee.
3. Clean it
If you haven't noticed already, coffee equipment can get pretty dirty. That coffee oil builds up and can inhibit flavor extraction. We suggest regular maintenance and cleaning of your brewing equipment (and grinder).

4. Use whole beans
You'll get the best flavor out of your beans if they're freshly ground. Why? The moment it is exposed to the air, you lose moisture and flavor.
