It's easy to produce a high-quality, delicious cup of coffee using the April Brewer system. Let's learn how to use the April Brewer for a pour over.

Directions

  1. Place Kalita filter in April Brewer.
  2. Rinse the filter with hot water. Then, empty the kraft.
  3. Weigh out 28 grams of whole bean Klatch Coffee.
  4. Grind size should be similar to coarse sand.
  5. Add ground coffee to filter.
  6. Saturate all coffee with 50 ml of water 10 sec. Pour slow in spiral motion from center. Let bloom (0-35 sec.)
  7. At 35 sec. Add 150 ml water 35-55 sec. Pour in spiral motion from center.
  8. At 1:15 Add 100 ml water (1:15-1:30 min/sec) Pour half spiral to center pour. (Pour 50 ml spiral motion then transition to center for 50 ml in the center to finish pour)
  9. At 1:45 Add 100 g water (1:45-2:00 min/sec) Pour half spiral to center pour. (Pour 50 g spiral motion then transition to center for 50 ml in the center to finish pour)
  10. Time 3 minutes, 20 seconds.
  11. Pour into cup and enjoy!

    Troubleshooting: If time exceeds 3:20, make grind coarser. If shorter, make grind finer.
