Curious about the name? Crazy Goat is inspired by the beginning of coffee, when coffee cherries were discovered by an Ethiopian goat herder named Kaldi. Noticing that his usually calm goats were jumping around crazily after eating some red berries, he decided to try them. And voila, the crazy, exciting world of coffee was born.

I use this bean for espressos, flat white lattes, and cortaditos. I don't like beans that taste burnt. These have a robust chocolaty flavor. The crema has a smokey color and aroma.

I usually LOVE Crazy Goat coffee but this year (maybe it was the holiday rush or recipe error?) the chocolate aroma and taste stood out over the spice and tobacco and was not the usual blend that I love. Those 3 combinations of chocolate, spice and tobacco are what make this coffee so special and unique!! Has anyone else experienced this? I submitted this message on the Klatch website but have not received a response. Hoping to hear from you. Thank you.

Crazy Goat Blend
I first tried Crazy Goat coffee on a trip to CA and loved it, so I was delighted to be able to order it by mail. The coffee is strong enough to help get you going in the morning, but without bitterness. It's a lovely balanced blend with great flavor. I can't wait to visit CA again and go to the Klatch store, but until then ill keep enjoying Crazy Goat at home.
I enjoy many coffee beans from Klatch and others, but I enjoy Crazy Goat Blend the most. I always know whet it gets to the grinding burrs.
