The world’s oldest and most well-known blend. A richly balanced, earthy cup, with a flavor profile of brandy-toned chocolate, nutty almond, and hints of blueberry top notes.
Our version of the ancient Mocha-Java blend combines a genuine Java from the government estates of East Java with two different Ethiopia "natural" or dried-in-the-fruit coffees, both of which represent variations of the original Yemen Mocha component of the blend: one from the Harrar region of Ethiopia and a second from the Amaro region of southwestern Ethiopia.
Ken Davids of Coffee Review in his 91 POINTS - January 2010 assessment describes our Mocha Java as: "Intense aroma: brandy fermented fruit, sweet-toned flowers, and aromatic wood. In the cup richly balanced; delicate fruit and floral top notes with deeper hints of earth, brandy-toned chocolate, and aromatic wood. These deeper tones carry into a mildly but distinctly astringent finish."

This is my new favorite coffee. This is absolutely fantastic. Rich, and creamy. The mouth feel on this I can liken to chocolate milk. This is the first thing I’ve tried from Klatch bought from another site, but quickly came here and bought more of this and other kinds too. I didn’t know coffee could be this good! I don’t think I’ll be buying any other brand coffee going forward. Klatch will be in my cup from here on out and at least one cup of mocha Java every morning.

I recently did a sniff test between these Klatch beans and a local brand of coffee beans from a cafe’ in town. The local brand smelled like an ash tray and the Klatch beans smelled of chocolate and blueberry! I kid you not. I had my husband smell it and he also was amazed at the difference!

Balanced taste in a Blend
I almost didn't order this blend, but I am glad I did. If you take a minute and cup this coffee, you will taste the chocolate and berry up front before finishing with almond. With people returning to the office, the comment was made by a few team members, "I have missed the great coffee we have at the office". This is why I have Klatch Coffee shipped to NC.
