We’re thrilled to present Mujeres De Café (Spanish for "women of coffee"), a coffee that not only delivers outstanding flavor but also supports a vital cause. Throughout March, 20% of every bag sold will be donated to Grounds For Health, an organization that has been providing life-saving women’s health programs in coffee-growing communities since 1996.

In the cup, this blend is vibrant and unforgettable. We’ve combined Bourbon/SL28, Yellow Icatu Honey, and Icatu Honey varietals, each thoughtfully processed through anaerobic, honey, and washed methods to unlock remarkable complexity. The result is a dynamic, flavor packed profile bursting with hibiscus florals, juicy kiwi brightness, and rich molasses sweetness, layered with delicate notes of light jasmine and pluot, all carried by a smooth, elegant body.

But Mujeres De Café is more than incredible flavor—it’s a celebration. It honors the Ortiz family’s deep-rooted dedication to sustainability, craftsmanship, and uplifting their community. Every sip tells their story, and we’re proud to share it with you.

Beyond great coffee, we cherish the Ortiz family’s dedication to community and sustainability. Lucia Ortiz’s Finca Las Mercedes farm in El Salvador is a long-time partner and collaborator with Klatch Coffee. Women are the heart of the coffee industry—from the farmers and producers to CEOs like our very own Heather Perry. Their passion, leadership, and hard work have shaped coffee history, and "Mujeres De Café" is our tribute to their indelible contributions.

At the heart of this initiative is Lucia Ortiz, a cherished direct trade partner and close friend of the Klatch Coffee family. As the head producer of Finca Las Mercedes in El Salvador, Lucia has not only helped craft this exquisite blend but has also transformed lives in her community.

Through her healthcare initiative, Dispensario Los Ortiz, Lucia and her family have provided clean drinking water, education, and medical care since 1979. Even through political unrest, their dedication never wavered. Thanks to partnerships with Glasswing and USAID, the clinic officially opened in December 2019, offering:

✅ Medical consultation rooms & waiting areas built with locally sourced materials
✅ Public restrooms & hygiene education programs, supported in part by Klatch Coffee donations
