This bean goes through an environment-friendly Swiss Water® Process, the gold standard of decaf. Ensuring that the bean’s distinctive origin and flavor characteristics are maintained, Swiss Water® Process is decaffeinated coffee without compromise. Using water from the pristine coast mountain environment of British Columbia, Canada, the caffeine is gently removed until the coffee beans are 99.9% caffeine-free, undergoing regular caffeine level audits to ensure 99.9% caffeine-free compliance.

Klatch decaf espresso is one of the best decafs I have tried. I personally just like the taste of espresso and espresso drinks, but can't drink that much caffeine throughout the day. Klatch provides a fantastic alternative.

Exceptional Espresso, even though it’s Decaffeinated
I’m extremely sensitive to caffeine, but love the taste of coffee (no room americano!). Klatch’s Decaf Espresso is absolutely the best, significantly better than its competitors. It smells and tastes like regular beans, but has none of the effects of the caffeinated versions.

I hate to admit that I’ve jumped on the decaf train after investing so much in an espresso machine. That being said, decaf is great for those afternoons when you want a refreshing iced latte or something nice and warm to sip on. The coffee has a more dark roast flavor than I was expecting, but since it’s decaf, I find that it helps bring an appropriate amount of bitterness that in the shot you would expect in a regular espresso shot. One thing I always look for a decaf is if the espresso flavor will come through in a latte, and this one definitely did- thumbs up to the Klatch team

Disappointed
We had the Belle espresso at a coffee shop in CA and loved it, so we ordered some Belle along with the Decaf expresso when we arrived home. We have not opened the Belle yet but did use the decaf and were very disappointed with it. Still expecting the Belle to be as good as we recall.

I prefer not dealing with the effects of caffeine, so I try decaf espresso drinks wherever I travel (admittedly not happening during the pandemic). Luckily enough, my very favorite is available in my own back yard--and available to ship as well! No bitterness, just rich deliciousness.
