My new favorite Klatch Espresso

We’ve been Klatch espresso customers for over 5 years. Their House and Belle espresso have been our long time favorites, but now Empire has taken the number one spot. Incredibly rich and flavorful, with perfect crema.

Fantastic coffee

I recently won a Klatch coffee giveaway & was pleasantly surprised to learn that I had won $100 worth of your coffee, through an Instagram giveaway. I guess I want you to call a coffee connoisseur, I drink coffee of all types from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. Empire is the only 1 of the 3 that I've tried so fa. Not only is the flavor robust & scent amazing The taste Is a coffee flavor I've never experienced before. The chocolate vanilla cola & blackberry flavors are amazing with these beans LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It is an unparalleled perfect cut of coffee. The flavor combinations are fantastic! I've also shared a little bit of the beans with my 63-year-old uunt.

Congratulations on being one of the contest winners, and thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review for Empire!

Could have been more stars

I was very disappointed in the time it took to receive my coffee because I am only two small cities away. So for that 3 stars, as for the coffee I have enjoyed it.

Louis, thanks for bringing this to our attention and we appreciate you coming on board as a new customer. I took a few minutes to review the tracking and you're right, this did take a little longer to arrive than is typical. Seems there was either a delay at our local post office or possibly a mis-sort where the package went to the wrong place before ultimately being delivered to you. We are constantly evaluating our shipping methods and relationships with carriers and I hope we can provide a better delivery experience on your next order.

Best coffee ever

I loved the WBC as my favorite coffee until I had Empire. It’s like WBC but a little smoother and a tad less acidic to me. Absolutely awesome!

Awesome Dave! We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and letting us know about your experience with Empire.

Husband picked, wife approved

It’s hard to please my wife. While I like to try new things, she has her favorite, traditional espresso flavors and if she gets a cup of fruity coffee in the morning, there’s hell to pay.

So you can understand why I’m so happy with this coffee. It reaches flavor notes—in particular the cola flavors—that pleases my sense of adventure while still holding the standard chocolate and nut flavors that keep me from being murdered early in my day.

This will be a regular order for us. We thank you and the divorce lawyers, well, they don’t. :)

Over-roasted and ashy tasting

Just like the recent batches of WBC this coffee is over-roasted and has an unpleasant, ashy aftertaste. It's supposed to be a medium roast, but it's at least medium-dark. Medium roast generally produces matte beans (no oil) that are brown in color. This coffee has a lot of beans that are dark-brown to black, shiny with oil. I've been buying WBC for years, and it was great, but it looks like something has changed with the roasting of the beans at Klatch, so it's time to find another supplier.
